About Us
We are an international performance ensemble of movers, actors, and musicians from all over the world dedicated to creating innovative and exciting work! We started in 2016 and since have created original works, sharing them all over NYC and beyond. The How’s mission is to create a place for audiences and artists to be challenged by a multiplicity of viewpoints, forms, and stories. We believe in upending convention. We believe in creating a sense of place. We believe in taking the emotional temperature of the world and manifesting it in physical form. We’ve performed at Culture Lab LIC, The Tank, IRT Theater, Dixon Place, Here Arts Center in NYC; Rubulad, Montgomery Gardens and The Unruly Collective in Brooklyn; and in Tuhafier in Istanbul, Turkey.
What sets our howling souls on fire is creating authentically, inclusively, inovatively, and creatively. We create collaborative theater from the heart. We teach classes and learn from our ever expanding community. Come join us?
